The Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) will be hosting their 25th annual Energy Fair this week in Custer, Wisconsin. The Pika Energy team will be there to give a hands-on workshop covering the installation of Pika hybrid wind and solar systems. Installers will also earn continuing education credits (CECs) towards NABCEP certification by attending Pika’s workshop. Though the workshop is geared towards installers, we encourage anyone interested in residential clean energy to attend. In addition to the workshop, taking place on Friday, June 20, at 5:00 p.m., Energy Fair attendees can stop by Booth X11 and X12 to learn about your hybrid options and see Pika products on display.
Pika president Ben Polito will present the training workshop, which will feature Pika’s home wind turbine, PV Link, and hybrid inverter. He’ll demonstrate how the PV Link and grid-tied hybrid inverter maximize efficiency in wind turbine and photovoltaic combined installations. Pika’s REbus DC Microgrid technology enables the ultimate flexibility in system design. A wind turbine and solar array can be linked in parallel in a field and run up to ¼ mile wire run to Pika’s hybrid inverter.
The MREA promotes renewable energy and sustainable living through a number of education initiatives, including the Energy Fair, their largest event. Over 200 businesses and non-profits from the clean energy and environmental industries will host exhibits and workshops throughout the long weekend, on topics ranging from aquaponics to wind energy. Pika Energy will be the only small wind turbine manufacturer at this year’s fair, so be sure to drop by our booth!
If you can’t make it to Wisconsin for the Energy Fair, but still want to learn more about how Pika can add more options to your energy portfolio, at home or as an installer, contact us here.
Correction: A previous version of this post said installers will earn “continued energy credits (CECs).” The post is currently updated with the correct term:
“continuing education credits.”
